Well done Ivy!

Ivy has won a BFG Roald Dahl book for her drawing. We entered a competition and from over 1000 entries, Ivy was in the top ten!

Room 5 are puzzle mad!

Excellent collaborative effort the last couple of weeks  in Room 5 to complete these detailed 300 piece jigsaw puzzles. Go team!

Room 5 finally meet Harold!

Room 5 have been to visit the Life Education caravan this week. Misty and Harold taught us all about healthy food and what our bodies need to be healthy. We all need...... Sleep, shelter, water, healthy food and love. It was VERY exciting to meet Harold. Some kids got to give him a hug and a smooch! 

Lucia is the Star Student!

Well done Lucia! We have been focusing on 'respect' in our class lately. Lucia always shows respect to herself and others. She is super kind and inclusive. Thank you Lucia, you help make our class very special.

Noah is the star student!

Well done Noah! We have been focusing on good friendships lately and Noah is a superstar friend - we all agreed in Room 5! He is fair, easy to get along with and VERY kind and considerate. Thank you Noah, we are so lucky to have you in our class.

Room 5 get the flag award!

Well done room 5!!!! Mrs Aitken has noticed how much amazing writing we have been doing this term and she has chosen us for the very special flag award. After the holidays our flag will be flying on the flagpole as a reminder of the excellent work we do. A fantastic way to wrap up a long term of new friends, new learning and adventures. Enjoy the holiday kids!

Gorgeous garden in room 5

Thank you for all the great flower contributions yesterday. We had a great time observing and discussing the variety of flowers. After drawing the flowers we wrote about them. There was some great conversation about what we saw! 

Lara is our star student!

Well done Lara! We have been focusing on being persistent and independent in class. This is Lara through and through! She is an excellent role model. Thank you Lara.

Welcome St. Johns

We had a special visit yesterday from Nikolai the ambulance officer and Amby the ambulance. They came to tell us all about what happens in an emergency. We really enjoyed the visit and even got to wrap each other up in bandages! 

Well done Luke!!!

We are so proud of our Luke today. He participated in the Mt. Roskill Parasports day and returned covered in medals! What a superstar x

Room 5 are a team. We know that when we work together our class runs smoothly and we have a lot more fun. We have been collecting class compliments for each time we come together as a team. Today we celebrated getting 100 class compliment points with a Party! We had so much fun dressing up, having a crazy dance party, and playing together. Well done room 5, you deserved it!
