Tropical day in Room 5

We collected $80 today for people in Fiji. Some kids wanted to help so much that they shared their tooth fairy money! Super kind kids here in our class. We had lots of fun today dressing up and painting. 

Learning our spelling

Wow! Room 5 have worked so hard this week on learning their spelling words. Everyone could spell their homework words easily. Awesome!

Sharing paints

Room 5 have been painting today. All around the room, kids were showing beautiful manners while sharing the paints. Well done Room 5!

Room 5 yogis

Room 5 just love yoga! At the moment our favourite book is called "My Daddy is a Pretzel". Sometimes we use the "Cosmic Kids Yoga" Youtube channel. The 'Star Wars" episode was a definite hit.

Have you been a bucket filler today?

We have really enjoyed this special book recently. "Have you filled a bucket today" teaches us that being kind can be so rewarding.

Mindfulness Video

Room 5 enjoyed watching this video last week. It reminds us to notice the feelings that we have so that we can look after them.

Zach got a special award.

We had a special surprise at our assembly. Penny and Mrs Mitchell spotted some of Zach's writing on his brain and chose him for the special Quality Work trophy. Well done Zach!

Ivy is the star student!

Ivy is our first star student. She has been super brave at swimming and can now put her head under the water! Well done Ivy, we are so proud of you.
